The full results from CSEx2010 are attached below. With the number of delays due to the various racing incidents and the consequent truncation of the event, unfortunately it wasn't possible to run all of the consolation finals. The number of retirements also complicated things, with several teams going through to the next round by default by the simple fact of being the only ones still running from their heat.

The first aid team were kept busy at CSE2010 as a string of racers crashed at the most fearsome corner of the course, "The Switch". It's complicated combination of a right hand off camber, blind apex entry followed by sharp switch to an open left hand bend caught out cartie after cartie as they drifted towards the bales which almost seemed magnetic at times. Thankfully there were no serious injuries and all the victims were treated at the scene.

Cairngorm Soapbox Extreme: C12 Lead the Pack

C12 put on an impressive show to qualify in first place, with Bush Racing in second place after the first days' competition in Cairngorm Soapbox Extreme 2010. 28 teams lined up after safety inspection yesterday evening and took part in a series of practice and qualifying runs in preparation for the main racing later today. The new course proved challenging and there were some spills as "The Switch" claimed its first victims. There were a few scrapes and bumps but no serious injuries to competitors. Unfortunately the same can't be said of the carties.

Cairngorm Soapbox Extreme: Saturday Best for Spectators

Spectators are welcome to come and witness all the thrills and spills of gravity racing at its most extreme. The best time to watch will be the evening of Saturday 24th July, when the heats and finals will see the teams battling it out head to head in groups of up to four carties. Friday evening is reserved for individual practice and qualifying only.

One of the teams taking part in CSEx2010 will be aiming to raise money for charity.

The Monboys team from Stonehaven, who have entered two carties for CSEx2010, will be looking for sponsors on the day to help raise funds for The Heart Foundation.
