Monymusk Cairtie Race

Start: 13:00

End: 17:00

The Cairts will race for three miles, starting near the summit of Cairn William and finishing in Monymusk Village.

Cairts to have no engines, a minimum of three wheels and working brakes. Three people per team, minimum age 14 years.

In aid of the RNLI, CRANES and Marie Curie.

Catterline Cycles 50 for Childline

So far we have 15 people taking part, but there are still plenty of places left. It won't be ultra competitive (apart from the usual suspects, of course ), so if you fancy coming along for a gentle cycle and to raise some dosh for ChildLine in the processÂ please let us know as soon as possible to make it easier to plan.

The more the merrier!

The annual Catterline Charity Cycle Ride will be taking place at the end of September. This year it is in aid of ChildLine, and there is a choice of two routes; for the â€œEager Beaversâ€ there is a 50 mile chase, and for those seeking a more â€œLeisurely Pursuitâ€ there will be a 35 mile meander.

Great Grampian Beer Festival

Start: 16:45

Creel Inn Beer Festival Posse The 20th Aberdeen and North East Scotland Beer Festival, organised by Aberdeen, Grampian & Northern Isles CAMRA (more details here).

Transport details :

Bus departs from the Creel Inn at 16.45. Alternatively, meet at the beer festival after work.
Bus depart from beer festival at 22.30, returning to the Creel for a curry and some lemonade.

Approximately 40 now signed up. Speak to Robert if you want to join the happy band.
