Kinneff Village Hall CeilidhThe Annual Kinneff Village Hall Dance will be held on Saturday 18th November in aid of the village hall funds, so come and dance the night away at your local ceilidh.

Price of tickets is £7, or £10 at the door. The ticket includes half time food provided by Michelle Drinkwater (that's worth the £7 on its own!). Bring your own beer.

The communities of Kinneff and Catterline have supported the needs of the facility well over the years and have also benefited from the use of the hall. Significant improvements were made recently including a revamped entrance way and the addition of new improved toilet facilities. The hall is an excellent community facility and without these enhancements would have faced difficulties in relation to new regulations. The balance of the funding is now required to complete the extension work. Please come and support. Raffle prizes are also needed.

Tickets are available from Village Hall Committee members including:

John Forbes
Andrew Watt
David Drinkwater
Byron McKibben

Catterline Village Carol Singing will take place Thursday 21st December. Come and join in and lend your voice to the festive chorus.

Singers and musicians should meet at Gruinart, Chris & Steph Rodger's house in the village at 6.30 pm.

Starting at the Grove, the singers will stop at Trelong Row, Coastguard Cottages, The Creel Inn, up the brae to South Row and finally Burnside.

If you can't manage to join in the procession then open up your door to hear the melodious sounds and sing along to some of your favourite carols. A collection will be taken for the Bereaved Parent's Network.

Come on down and enjoy the atmosphere of a traditional music session.
I will almost certainly be there, and will attempt to stay sober long enough to murder the five tunes I can play on my whistle.
