A stunning exhibition entitled "Impressions of Catterline" opened at the Montrose Museum last Saturday and will run until June 21. The culmination of six months of hard work by Kim Canale of Wall Projects, her latest exhibition focusses on the village of Catterline in Kincardineshire, which has been a haven for artists over the years. Howdy partners! The Northern Roughriders will be coming to the rootin’ tootin’ Catterline Gala this year - a hootin’ and a hollerin’ and tearing the place up. There will be gun fights, bar-room brawls and all manner of wild west themed fun and games, so why not mosey on down and join in! Try your hand at rodeo riding on the Petrotechnics Bucking Bronco, or alternatively just come along and enjoy all your gala favourites. Other new attractions for the gala include The Siberian Husky Welfare Associations “Hug a Husky” stand and the Cactus Cabin. Kids – don’t forget races and the fancy dress competition! Please support your local gala – bottle stall donations, raffle prizes, tombola chocolates, cakes or candy donations or offers of help on the day are very welcome.
