Kinneff Old Church

The annual commemorative service of the Kinneff Old Church takes place on Sunday 14th September at 7 pm. The guest preacher is Rev Dr Martin Fair of St Andrew’s Parish Church, Arbroath.

The musical interlude will be performed by pupils from Dunnottar School.

Kinneff Old Church is where the Scottish Crown Jewels, The Honours of Scotland, were hidden in 1652 beyond the clutches of the invading army of Oliver Cromwell. They remained there for nine years and were then transported to Edinburgh Castle where they have remained ever since and are now on public display.
