Catterline Gala - Volunteers and Donations Needed

Gala Poster Only one week to go to the 2010 Catterline Gala Beach Party, 12 June, 1:30 to 4:00 pm. 

Come dressed for the beach, surf shorts recommended. There will be fancy dress prizes for children and a bad taste shirt prize for for adults.

Please see a member of the comittee to buy Ceilidh and Lucky Duck Tickets.

The committee members are also happy to receive donations of raffle prizes, cakes for the cake stall and bottles for the bottle stall.  Please sign up on the rota in the Creel to volunteer to man a stall.

The committee is: Alison Campbell, Tracy Walker, Susie Kemp, Kerry Dodds, Gordon Ritchie, Robert Plummer, Duncan Talbert.

Join The Gala Team !!!! ... No Seriously !!!!

 The village gala team is in urgent need of 3 or more creative, hard working and fun loving people to join them in the Creel Inn over the winter to plan the 2010 Catterline Village Gala.

If you are over 18, have the ability to come up with daft ideas and thrash them into shape with the team over a couple of drinks during the winter..... then coupled with a wee bit of hard work in spring time you could be just the person for us !

Bringing your Scarecrow to the Gala

Scare CrowWhen you bring your scarecrow to the gala on Saturday , please set it up in the Scarecrow Paddock which will be on the long side of the main marquee facing the gala field.  A hammer will be available to assist in knocking scarecrows in.

At the scarecrow paddock you will also find identification placards, please fill one in with your scarecrow's name and the name and age of the scarecrow builder and stick the placard in the ground in front of your scarecrow.
